It needs to be, I really screwed myself getting the Dell monitor, a 680 wouldn't get over 48 fps in max settings in BF3, so I needed it.

It arrived today (along with the drives) & it looks & feels awesome.

Didn't do much yesterday except a bit of tidying, not that I've even used a firewire device it's strange that the MOBO doesn't have connector so I tied it up.

Today had a nice delivery waiting for me.

Started by putting in the optical drives

Really like the locking system in the case

Also like the the way the HDD fits in the cage, you just flex it & line up the lugs to the holes

I had to remove the middle cage to fit the power cable as it's not very flexible

Next went in the internal USB3 header, you can't really see but it tight against a capacitor

Able to connect the top two drives with the cables supplied, but as you can see they are angled & wouldn't fit in the bottom drive, lucky I had a spare from my old machine

Most of the power cables and the GFX card installed, look neat from this side

Not quite as neat from the back, some sorting to do

After sorting ot the cables, just the sound & TV card to install, the it's time to start reading the manuals & get installing.

Well got my parts but newegg sent me a bad motherboard and the wrong CPU. So I'm still waiting for parts :( and my old system is dead. I can't get it working, so I will be down for several more days and that's assuming that they send me the right parts this time. Think this might be my last time with newegg

I know what you mean m8, last night the odd noise the HDD was making was bothering me (want it to be silent when I'm watching TV on it).

I did a quick format on the HDD copied everything from my backup 1TB HDD (which is silent even though it a WD black) and swapped it over.

When I tried to reinstall windowed tonight it failed & after some research memtest86 says all 4 of my memory sticks are bad.

I should be back up and running Friday, my new laptop should be here then. I ordered an ASUS G75VW-AS71 17.3-Inch Laptop. I should be able to play any game I want on it, so that's a big improvement.

My problem turned out to be a loose cable, reinstalled windows & have the machine in my room now. Just have a load of backed up stuff & programs to put on.
